Digital Services

The rapid development of smart and connected devices is changing the way lighting is used. Operations are made more efficient, there are cost benefits and creative effects are easier to deliver.

Three men sit around a white table in a modern office, engaged in a discussion. Two men are on the left, one in a blue shirt taking notes, the other in a dark blue shirt talking about an LED driver project. The third man, in a light pink shirt, listens attentively. A tablet and paperwork are on the table.

Making light smart and more connected

Remote access and control

Commissioning, programming and status monitoring can all be done remotely, anywhere in the world – directly or using cloud systems. This is essential where there are regular changes to lighting effects such as lighting colours for charity events.  Bright Green Technology administers and remotely configures RGB sites around the world and we often reprogram at very short notice.  The sites are diverse – including major retailers in Kuwait, outdoor advertising sites in Dubai and public displays in London.

RGB and Dynamic white programming

We support our RGB and dynamic white installations with control hardware and software.  Our engineers are experienced programmers of specialist DMX lighting software such as Pharos and knowledgeable about lighting protocols. We often work at the initial design stage to illustrate the creative possibilities of a new site and pre-render sequences for evaluation.

Digital lighting protocols

Together with our sister company Bright Green Connect, we advise on, implement and deliver products with multiple lighting protocols.  We work with DALI2, Gooee, Casambi and others.

Interactive displays and integration of sensors

As retail becomes more digital and focuses on customer experience, we are challenged to develop lighting systems that are more complex and impactful.

Our recent project for a major consumer brand in the USA involved the complete design of a touch sensitive switch to trigger lighting in a point of sale display.  We designed and built the switch, configured the lighting, managed the certification process and then built the product.

Digital Out of Home advertising

In the OOH advertising world, we enable companies to take full advantage of digital connectivity. Our custom developments deliver:

  • RGB lighting schemes to bring dynamic lighting to iconic sites
  • Anti-hacking security devices for digital screens
  • Site status monitoring and data collection
  • Integration and triggering with media software
