A statement ceiling for resident’s luxury spa

Ant Yapi serves as the principal contractor for a prestigious development of 57 luxury apartments across 9 floors overlooking London’s Hyde Park. The developers hand-selected natural stones and designed the joinery, doors, and ironwork to create a luxurious feel throughout. Meanwhile, our sister company, Bright Green Space, collaborated early on, applying their expertise in structural and architectural lighting design.

The main challenge involved creating a stunning ceiling that matched the building’s elegant aesthetics for the 25-meter swimming pool, which flows seamlessly into the gym within the resident’s spa. In addition, Ant Yapi required balcony lighting for the penthouse suites.

Swimming Pool & Spa

To illuminate the voids within the timber structure, we chose Bright Green Grid. Available in Dynamic White, it allows continuous colour temperature adjustment to suit different environments. Furthermore, its shallow depth and variety of panel sizes make it ideal for restricted spaces.

We applied an additional protective coating to ensure the system withstands the aggressive and humid swimming pool environment.

Exterior Balcony Lighting

Beyond the ceiling illumination, we supplied LED lighting to brighten the balconies of the penthouse suites. This lighting casts a soft, warm glow on the building’s exterior.

We specified Bright Green Dual Bend flexible Neon due to its compact form, high flexibility, and rugged IP-rated design perfect for external use. Plus, its cut-to-length feature reduces waste and ensures a perfect fit.

We strategically positioned power supplies inside remote electrical cabinets. This setup provides full accessibility without disturbing residents. Finally, we carefully selected cables to prevent voltage drop, even across long distances between the lights and power supplies.
