Backlighting photography at the National History Museum

A leading lighting designer selected our PRO Range Bright Green LED Light Panel to backlight the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum.

After a successful tender process, we worked directly with the museum’s exhibition team to deliver the complete LED lighting solution.

We partnered closely with the photography studio. Together, we tested brightness and colour temperature to find the ideal system. Several images featured rich red tones that standard LEDs fail to highlight. To solve this, we measured CRI values across our product range. The PRO Range LED Light Panel stood out. Its high CRI and strong R9 valuebrought red tones to life. As a result, it was chosen for the entire exhibition.

Our sister company, Bright Green Connect, supplied dimmable power supplies. Each unit was individually controlledto suit the size and lighting needs of every photograph.

Following a successful exhibition in London, we continue to support the museum. We’re now supplying LED lighting for their travelling display in Hertfordshire.
