Backlighting photography at the National History Museum

Our client, a high profile lighting designer specified PRO Range Bright Green LED light panel to backlight The National Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. After completing the tender process, we successfully supplied the LED lighting working directly with the museum exhibition team.

Working closely with the photography studio, we tested brightness and colour temperature to recommend a suitable LED lighting system.  Some of the entries contained vibrant colours including red tones which standard LED lighting would not accentuate.  We measured the CRI on our premium suite of products,  the PRO Range LED light panel which is defined by its very high CRI and minimum R9 value illuminated the red tones beautifully and was selected for the entirety of the project.

Our sister company Bright Green Connect supplied dimmable power supplies all individually controlled dependent on the photographs size and lighting requirements.

After a very successful year at the National History Museum we are continuing our relationship and supplying additional lighting for their roaming display in Hertfordshire.
