Westfield shopping centre is the newest addition for the VUE cinema chain. With state of the art digital screens, jaw-dropping surround sound and super-sized 3D, this is the cinema of the future.
Four large illuminated displays, three measuring 4 x 3m and one slightly smaller, are situated around the foyer area. Each is backlit with Bright Green Matrix, the latest LED product from Bright Green Technology.
Designed to offer a real alternative to fluorescent tubes, Bright Green Matrix ensures a bright and evenly lit display with no striping. Perspective Signs, based in Ipswich, chose Bright Green Matrix following successful trials which demonstrated fantastic stand-out even in the bright ambient light around the cinema. Simple installation, with long ‘stick’ lengths, made fitting the system quick and easy.
With the displays lit for 15 hours a day - power savings of up to 70%, a 50,000 hour lifetime and virtually zero maintenance were big benefits when compared to traditional fluorescent tubes.
